Profile Links - Hidden Danger of Link Building SEO Techniques

Creating PR links on your site has become a very popular SEO technique. Although larger search engines seem to reward this technique with higher rankings and more web traffic, there are some other factors that need to be taken into account before this method is used at full power.

Is it ethical?

For this reason, creating incoming links from other sites is not illegal. In some cases, however, ethics are a bit murky. Responding to forums and blogs (if they add value) seems a legitimate way to get a high PR return link.

Many services offer a list of sites where you can insert a link in your user profile. You can also buy software to automate the entire process, or simply pay someone to create the links for you.

The problem with these latest techniques is that many websites that are used explicitly prohibit the use of this technology to market your site. By placing your trade links, you violate the terms of use.

And you do not add any value to the site, it is actually spam. You donate another for your personal benefit.

With so many ways to successfully retrieve links from articles, advertisements, blogs and forums, avoiding such a questionable practice is easy enough.

If you do not submit your link to profile pages as spam, consider the anger on some sites.
