Everything You Want to Know About Setting Up a Home Theater Room
Setting up a home cinema starts with a plan. Start your installation by sitting down and developing a plan to achieve your ultimate goal. A few years ago, I bought a home with a home theater system room that needed a cinema screen, a projector, and multimedia seats. When I started this piece, I thought it would be easy. However, in reality it required a lot of attention and attention. Before my purchase, I never thought it would be that much work. It all starts with the size of the room. The size of the room helps determine the size of a screen that fits the area and is always proportional to the room. Other considerations include determining the electronic devices and furniture that will work with the room without being overloaded or uncomfortable.
First of all, you need to check the projector, audio speakers and the desired audio / video equipment. Each projector has a projection distance. This is the distance from the projector to the movie screen. Your projector has a minimum and maximum projection distance. Be careful not to calculate these measures incorrectly, as your video projection will be too large or too small depending on the model. This type of project should only be managed by professionals. If not, you will likely rebuild the room after installation is complete. Nobody wants to incur additional costs for a project.
Now consider how the system is wired. The equipment must be placed somewhere in the room. Make sure it is correct as incorrect selection can incur many additional costs. Determine the number of speakers you want to be part of your system, then determine the connection between your audio / video receiver and the speakers. Try to locate each of these components before completing your order.
Once you have ideas for a projector, movie screen, audio video equipment and wiring, you have to deal with the cosmetic aspects of the room. Cosmetics determine the atmosphere in your room, from painting to carpets and from curtains to lighting. It is very important to know what you want before you start. If you are laying a carpet or painting the walls, choose colors in medium to dark shades. In my opinion, the darker the color, the better. If you've ever noticed a commercial movie theater with the lights on, they have black walls, and if there is color it's usually dark red, green, or blue in general. We usually find color in the curtains, I opted for a deep anthracite gray in exchange for the traditional red curtains and filled the back wall to support the audio acoustics.
