The Making of a Great Company - Stages in the Life of a Company
The world we see around us was not created or built in one day. In the beginning, everything was new, fresh and small, simple and less numerous. Constant changes, developments, improvements and collaborations have made things around us bigger and more complex. So far I have worked in start-ups in my career. new projects; New companies and new tasks. Since I was part of the HR profession, I think it is appropriate to share these experiences. In this article, we are not talking about everything around us, but about the business world, development, growth and the analogy to the human life cycle.
Types of startups
All the big companies around us, be it Microsoft, IBM, Google, GE, Cisco, etc., were startups at some point. In the beginning, there were fewer workers, less capital, poor infrastructure and fewer facilities. Over time, these companies have become giants with constant growth and expansion. What do you think of a start-up?
A new company starting from scratch is considered a start-up. It all starts with a dream and an idea.
A new subsidiary of an existing company or a new sister company of an existing company is also considered as a start-up. In this case, a budget is allocated to the new company and the basic infrastructure is also provided by the parent company. However, this is considered a separate entity because it is a new company, a new industry, different customers, etc. It is just like your 2nd or 3rd child.
A new branch or branch of an existing company in a new country and a new jurisdiction are also considered start-ups.
For the purposes of this article, only companies that start from scratch are considered.
A company's life cycle is very similar to a person's life cycle. It all starts with an idea and requires enough research, preparation and planning to get involved. Just as people start, companies need the right care, advice and motivation to thrive and grow. Even companies go through different phases and stages. They also have family, parents, brothers and sisters, cousins and friends. Their relationships also change over time. They also suffer from heart tears. They also make mistakes, mistakes and mistakes. After all, companies are considered individuals under company law in various countries.
